Since 2003 the Company has been accredited to the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard . For its production of casement windows Weathershield Windows Limited is accredited to BBA (British Board of Agrément) standards of technical construction, British Standard 7950 for weather proofing of windows and Secured By Design for enhanced resistance .
Working in the commercial sector Weathershield Windows Limited understands the necessity to work to exacting quality and time deadlines, and as such now has an increasing client base in the commercial market sector. All glazing units supplied by Weathershield Windows Limited meet BS1279 and are accredited to Britsh Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) standards, meeting all Ratings as required.
The Eurocell profile is extruded to BS7413 (for hollow profiles) and BS7950 (for enhanced security performance). The profile is additionally accredited by the BBA and is increasingly supplied to a number of Local Authorities under the approval of LAPFAG . The 70mm system has also passed assessment for thermal transmittance by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). Eurocell is also a member of the British Plastics Federation (BPF) and is accredited to ISO 9001:2000.
Guarantees.
Our products come with the following manufacturers’ guarantees:- PVCu profile products for colour fastness and performance - ten years; sealed glass units - five years; and window and door hardware - one year. These guarantees are honoured by Weathershield Windows Limited and limited to free replacement products as necessary.
